About the WBMS PTO
The mission of West Briar Middle School PTO is three-fold: support, volunteerism, and fundraising.
Through these three initiatives, the PTO works to develop and strengthen relations between parents and teachers with a focus on collaboration for the enrichment and benefit of every student at West Briar.

Support The PTO works with the school to provide quality education for all students. Appointed PTO members participate in the decision making process establishing school policy and practices. The PTO does not manage the administrative activities of the school, nor does it control the policies implemented at the school. |

Volunteerism The objectives of the PTO are promoted through an education program directed toward parents, teachers, and the general public, and are developed through conferences, committees, projects, and programs governed and qualified by the basic policies stated in the WBMS PTO by-laws. |

Fundraising The PTO is organized exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible, and our Federal Tax ID/EIN is 26-0041071. All money raised by the PTO through fundraising activities and programs is to benefit West Briar Middle School and all students. |

The West Briar Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is committed to supporting our school administration, teachers, and students. We provide funding for many programs that enrich the school curriculum and we coordinate with parent volunteers to assist and support the school staff during the school year. I’d like to personally invite you to explore the volunteer opportunities we have and encourage you to get involved through PTO membership. We have a variety of committees that focus on fundraising, such as Grizzly Giving or Box Tops, as well as those that focus on events and activities, like the Veteran's Day Celebration and the grade-specific student dances and social events. PTO general meetings are open to all West Briar families. Meetings will be announced through social media and our PTO E-Blast.
